TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE

Holmdel operates under the Township form of municipal government. The Township Committee, which is the Governing Body, consists of 5 members elected at large for 3 year overlapping terms. The Township Committee at its annual reorganization meeting selects one of its own to serve as Mayor.

The Township Committee exercises control over the conduct of municipal business by means of legislation through ordinances or resolutions, approval and adoption of the annual budget and the formulation of policy to be carried out by the staff.

Mayor Patrick Impreveduto

Patrick Impreveduto moved to Holmdel in 1994 and was elected to the Township Committee in 2008.  From 2001 through 2007 he served on the Holmdel Township Board of Education.   He retired from the Secaucus School District in 2010 and was recently hired as an Associate Director for the Middle States Association for Schools and Colleges.  He is Co-Chair of Public Works, Administration, and Finance Committees and also serves on the Township Planning Board.  Pat and his wife Judith have two children and two grandchildren. 

   

Larry was appointed to the Environmental Commission in 1990. He served as Chairman for several years. Larry, his wife, and three daughters live on Algonquin Road. He was elected to the Township Committee in November 2000 and was re-elected in November 2003 and for a third time in November 2006 and most recently in November2009.
