The Township Clerk's primary
responsibilities are as follows:
- Secretary to the Municipal
Corporation
- Secretary to the Governing Body
- Chief Administrative Officer of
Elections within the Township
- Chief Registrar of Voters within
the Township
- Records Management Coordinator and
Manager
The Township Clerk is responsible for
the preparation of the Agenda for the Township
Committee Meetings and to record and keep the
Minutes of the Meetings.
The Clerk's office issues licenses
for solicitors, taxi drivers, bingo and raffles,
road openings, and ABC Liquor licenses.
The Township Clerk is the custodian
of the official records of the Township and
maintains Ordinances, Resolutions, Township Budget,
Contracts, Meeting Minutes, Performance Bonds,
Maintenance Bonds, Filed Township Deeds, Landlord
Registration, Financial Disclosure Forms, and
Calendar of Meeting Dates.
