Volunteering

  1. Domestic Violence Response Team

The volunteer advocates with the Domestic Violence Response Team are civilian members of the community who work in collaboration with the police to provide crisis intervention and safety planning to victims of domestic violence.

  2. Drug & Alcohol Alliance

The alliance was established to meet the need for comprehensive, coordinated substance abuse planning and programming.

  3. Internships

The Holmdel Police Department participates in an Internship Program with area colleges.

  4. Juvenile Conference Committee

The primary purpose of the committee is to deal with the vast “middle ground” of juvenile behavior, which is not harmful enough to require adjudication of delinquency, but which cannot be overlooked by the community.

  5. Neighborhood Watch

The Holmdel Neighborhood Watch Program is always seeking to start groups in areas where none have been established.

  6. Police Explorers

The Holmdel Township Police Explorers is a young-adult career education program for both young men and women.
